This is a great place for breakfast, especially if you like huge pancakes! They have flavored coffee if that's your thing and it's good coffee as far as diners go! Booths hold 6 people so it's nice for a bunch! Tell em Dave sent ya!
While visiting relatives in the Rochester, NY area we came here for breakfast. It was a recommendation from my sister-in-law who accompanied us. The food was very good and the ambience was friendly and inviting. The service was fast and efficient and would recommend this place for a nice breakfast / lunch.
Consistently good food. Great service as usual. This time by every owner's dream employee, Gabby. Refills on coffee were frequent. Gluten free options were solid. Be ready to wait to be seated. This time it was about 20 minutes. Some things are worth the wait. Go.
I've been coming here at least once a month for the past 2 years, it is one of my two favorite restaurants. Great service and great food. I always get the Greek Salad or the Country Breakfast. Portions are great. The gravy is homemade. You can't beat it. A+++
Their food is delicious and their staff was very kind. My wife and I came in for brunch and enjoyed our stay. Their portions were solid for what you pay, especially their enormous "love cake" pancakes. We shared an Apple Spice love cake and their Gyro omelette plate. Both dishes were well prepared and tasted great!
Always great for breakfast! There's a reason it's so busy on the weekends. Very tasty pancakes and lots of other great choices too.
I had breakfast here with my wife for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing! The place itself was small and we had went in a Saturday morning and had to wait 15 - 20 mins but it wasn’t too bad. Once we got in we were sat down and the service was great. The pancakes are huge. They also have an expansive menu with both breakfast and lunch options. I would definitely come back here again. I know they have other locations and may try those as well.
They were plenty busy. And for good reason. Make sure to take an appetite with you. I was amazed when it came out. Use the English muffins to put the pancake into perspective. They call them lovecakes vs. pancakes. I call it a large pizza with butter and maple syrup.
Visited for the large love cake (i.e. pancake) and I did NOT disappoint. Fast service and nice presentation. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Wish I had more time where I could visit again and try more items.
Another “Eat Local NY” stop, this time for breakfast. I’ve tried coming here several times but the place is always packed. Thankfully I found a day where it was a slower morning so I managed to grab a table. This place has a large menu with the biggest pancake selection I’ve ever seen. Here I got the “Heaping Helping of Hash” which is one of their corn beef hash specials. This place does has differently than all the others. Here it didn’t feel like the canned stuff you normally see with Hormel but rather actual homemade hash with shredded potatoes, green peppers and onions. If you are able to find a table or come in early, this place is an amazing breakfast spot. Definitely will be coming back.
